Sarah Riley
Owner of Riley Accountancy
A little bit of background – I qualified as a chartered accountant in 2012 after spending many years studying accountancy. I’ve worked in accountancy practices since leaving school up until I set up my own firm. I am the mother to 3 amazing children.
Fun fact – I ran the Great North Run raising over a £1.5k for the Great North Air Ambulance.
Best quality – I’m very friendly and approachable.
Worst quality – I drink way too much coffee!!
Keeley Whittle
Qualified Accountant
A little bit of background – I have worked in accountancy for over 15 years. I started my career working in industry helping to prepare management accounts for a national company before moving to a local accountancy practice where I worked toward my AAT qualification. Recently I also gained my BA (Hons) in Business Management (Accounting).
Fun fact – I have a marvel tattoo on my leg.

Lexi Cliff
Payroll Manager & Office Administrator
A little bit of background – I bring a strong background in management and client relationships. I joined Riley Accountancy in 2024 as an Administrator and have since worked my way up to managing the payroll department, something I’m really proud of. Alongside looking after our clients, I carry out a lot of the behind the scenes work that keeps the business running smoothly, from managing payroll and supporting day-to-day operations to helping improve the way we work. I love being a reliable point of contact for our clients and take pride in making things as straightforward and stress-free as possible. I always aim to go the extra mile and make sure people feel valued and well looked after.
Fun fact – I am a mother to a wonderful little boy and my two wayward dogs Asha and Luna.

Ellie Lowerson
Accounts Assistant
A little bit of background – I joined Riley Accountancy in 2023 as an apprentice, working towards my AAT qualification, which I have now successfully achieved. I am currently studying towards my ACCA qualification to become a Chartered Accountant. My role involves a variety of accounting responsibilities, including preparing accounts, dealing with VAT returns and completing self-assessment tax returns. I particularly enjoy building relationships with clients, getting to know them and helping them with their accounting needs.
Fun fact – I went skydiving in Mexico with my dad and brother.
Best quality – I go out of my way to help people.
Worst quality – I tend to overthink a lot.
